My little brother, Micah, got home from his mission to Italy (yeah, I was jealous too), on the Fourth of July. We were so excited to drive down and visit my family in Logan and get to be there at the airport to welcome him home. My whole family plus a few close friends were there. We all had matching T-shirts that said, "Bentornado a Casa, Anziano Blake," (Welcome Home, Elder Blake) and I have memorized how to spell that too because my little sister, Tiffany, and I spent hours writing that and tracing Italian flags on 19 T-shirts with puff paint. Anyway, we are so excited that he is home and have really enjoyed seeing the difference in him after 2 years. He's so grown up and heading off to school this fall. Here are a few pics of his homecoming:
"How we passed the time...."
"Still waiting....still bored....still sitting still only for the duration of this picture."
"The flight was delayed 20 minutes....yay for all of us moms standing there!"
"The only thing cooler than being on dad's shoulders is rubbing his fuzzy head. It's amazing how long a fuzzy head can keep a two-year old occupied."
"Finally! The moment we've all been waiting...and waiting....and...waiting for! Yay!"
"First hug goes to mom, that was a given."
"Then dad...then the rest of the 19 of us...we were there for a while"
"Seriously, who cares about Uncle Micah, check out the awesome snack machine. Again, snack machines and 2 year olds, like 15 minutes staring at it, it was great!"
(Side note: Yes, I didn't include any pictures of myself on purpose. I looked pretty disgusting that day.)
