In downtown Boise on the Grove they have this fun outdoor festival every Wednesday night. It's called, "Alive after Five". They have a live band playing music throughout and there's lots of vendors and in the middle of the big outdoor plaza there are fountains of water that shoot up from the ground that kids can play in. There was also a little water feature on the side which is where our kids ended up. The music was great and there were tons of people. The band was Needtobreathe which I had never heard before but they're pretty good. Check them out on youtube. It was a great summer evening activity. We had a lot of fun.
