We had a lot of fun celebrating Dylan's birthday! Dylan got to sleep in a little bit and got to get off work early, so that was really fun. The boys and I colored him a huge birthday banner and hung it on the wall and we got a bunch of fun balloons and decorations for our birthday party. The boys saw these cool cowboy hats at the party store so we decided to get those instead of the traditional party hats. This year Dylan wanted angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. I was worried the angel food cake wouldn't turn out because I usually always find a way to burn it or undercook it but it came out pretty good and we had a fun little party. For dinner Dylan passed up Wingers and the Chinese Buffet to head down to Chuck E. Cheese. We got pizza and played lots of fun games and little rides. We had so much fun together as a family. One of the rides took a little picture of the boys at the end. The picture's not great, but at least it's something because we forgot our camera. Another game you could do is sit and have your picture taken and then sketched. We would've done the whole family together but not enough room and not able to keep the boys sitting long enough to do it, so Dylan and I got a fun picture together. Actually, what you're seeing is a picture of the picture. By the end of the night we ended up with about 60 tickets, which got us two little rubber fish and two little fruit tart candies. Kinda funny. Anyway, we had a great time and we wanted to share some of our fun family memories with you!
